Restoration Dental Studio happily sees patients of all ages and offers unique services specialized for children. These include preventative and restorative services, nitrous oxide, and HealthyStart®.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide is a safe, effective agent that acts as an anxiolytic to help patients feel calm during dental procedures. Administered through a scented (or unscented) mask, it is inhaled before and during treatment. Afterward, patients will leave fully conscious and alert, meaning adults can drive themselves to and from appointments.
Nitrous Oxide may be a good choice for:
- Children and adults who may be unfamiliar with or fearful of dental treatment.
- Children who may have trouble staying still or calm during dental treatment.
- Patients with a strong gag reflex that may interfere with dental treatment.
Preventative & Restorative Services for Children
We offer all preventative services for children as well as adults, so that your family can receive care from the same, trusted providers.
Preventative dentistry is beneficial at all ages and stages of life. When proper oral hygiene techniques are learned and good habits are established as early as possible, the chances of running into common concerns such as decay, sensitivity, and weakening of the enamel or gum tissue are significantly reduced and have less of a chance to hinder your overall health. The goal of preventative dental care is to minimize the possibility of common dental conditions becoming major health issues.
We also offer restorative services for children! Dental treatment is diagnosed as necessary, and our team will happily ensure that you know exactly what to expect prior to pediatric treatment.

Dr. Emily Svetanoff is a preferred HealthyStart® provider, offering a non-invasive, pain-free system designed to open airways and naturally straighten teeth without braces. Rooted in over 50 years of research, HealthyStart® uses customized appliances to address symptoms of Sleep Disordered Breathing in children, such as snoring, difficulty focusing, teeth grinding, and underdeveloped jaws. By promoting proper jaw and airway development, this innovative system supports better breathing, alignment, and overall health for growing children.
