Meet Dr. Emily!
Dr. Emily’s journey in dentistry began early on in her life with a desire to contribute to the well-being of her community and loved ones. She says that she is thankful everyday for the opportunity to be a part of thousands of unique experiences and build long-lasting relationships with those in her community.
Dr. Emily was raised in Valparaiso, graduated from Valparaiso High School, and continued her education at Butler University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended Midwestern University College of Health Sciences where she earned her Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine where she graduated at the top of her class. Once she received her DMD, she returned to Valparaiso to build her business, where she now strives to provide an environment that fosters growth and guidance for her team while still expanding her own knowledge.

Outside of the Office
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Emily is busy keeping up with her two little ones, Braeden and Nellie. Braeden is already mastering his soccer skills, and baby Nellie is the newest member of the family, keeping everyone on their toes! Outside of family life, Dr. Svetanoff enjoys soaking up the sun whenever she can, whether it’s a day at the park with her kids or just a peaceful moment outdoors. As the president of the Northwest Indiana Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club, she stays connected with her community and loves supporting local causes. Throughout the year, Dr. Emily likes to travel and attend various courses around the country to further her education and offer new services for her patients. Her days are a mix of family fun, outdoor adventures, and, of course, caring for her patients.
